Wave 1 is almost here. Supplies are limited. No restock. No rerun. Here's everything you need to know before they're gone.

Geeky Inc blind boxes are small-batch, hand-printed collectible figures built around Japanese folklore. Each wave has a theme, a cast of characters, and a lore arc that makes every figure mean something. Wave 1 is Kitsune Legends — four kitsune spirits, one per box, variant unknown until you open it.

How the Wave Works

A mysterious glowing blind box with Japanese spirit motifs

Each box contains one hand-printed figure. The outside of every box is identical. Inside, one of four spirits is waiting — and not all of them are equally easy to find.

Every figure ships with a lore insert card that tells you who you got and where they stand in the kitsune hierarchy. Most figures are print-in-place articulated — they flex and move. The rarest figure in the wave is a static display piece built for a different kind of presence.

Wave 1 is a limited run. When they're gone, they're gone — no restocks, no reprints, no second run. The wave closes permanently when the last unit ships.

The Lore: A Kitsune's Journey

Misty ancient Japanese forest with glowing spirit wisps and a torii gate

In Japanese folklore, a kitsune earns one new tail for every hundred years of existence. One tail means the journey is just beginning. Nine tails means centuries of accumulated power. And beyond even that — there are spirits old enough to have shed what they no longer need.

Wave 1 follows four kitsune at different points along that arc.

The Four Spirits

Variant 1 — The Spirit Pup

Silhouette of a small four-legged baby fox with one tail

One tail. The youngest of the four — small, soft, still finding its shape in the spirit world. Articulated. The most common pull in the wave and the one that pulls people in immediately. Don't sleep on it.

Variant 2 — The Guardian

Silhouette of a four-legged kitsune with six tails fanned behind it

Six tails. Old enough to be commanding, composed enough to know it. Articulated. The Guardian doesn't rush. Mid-range pull rate — rarer than the Pup, and the figure people hold up quietly for a second before saying anything.

Variant 3 — The Nine-Tailed Sovereign

Silhouette of a four-legged kitsune with nine magnificent tails spread wide

Nine tails. The peak of the kitsune arc — centuries of power, fully realized. Articulated. The rarest of the three standard figures and the one most people will be hoping for. Pull one of these and you know you got something.

Variant 4 — Shiro

Silhouette of Shiro — a small bipedal armored fox spirit standing upright with a single tail

One tail. But not like the Pup.

Shiro is ancient enough to walk upright. Ancient enough to shed eight tails by choice. The single tail isn't a sign of youth — it's a statement that everything Shiro once needed, Shiro no longer does.

Shiro is not articulated. A deliberate decision. This is a display piece — built for presence, not playfulness — with a level of detail that articulated joints can't match. Pull rate is roughly 1 in 10. The rarest figure in the wave by a significant margin.
